The Stoney Littleton Long barrow is a Neolithic tomb of the Severn-Cotswold type. Most of the barrow is a fairly underwhelming sight from the outside, with the exception of the entrance, which is really quite spectacular. The interior of this tomb is really impressive. A long passage with several side chambers. To get to this long barrow, you'll need to navigate some very small roads/farm tracks. There is a small parking area, from which you'll need to walk to the long barrow. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the long barrow across farm fields. It's up hill most of the way there. It is completely worth the effort though!
