The Rollright stones consist of a stone circle, a collapsed dolmen and a standing stone. The stones which form the circle generally smallish and have a very weathered look to them. In fact the stones are so weathered that they have an organic look to them. The collapsed dolmen is known as the Whispering Knights and they do indeed look like several people standing together, whispering to each other. The standing stone - the King Stone - has a very unusual shape to it. Apparently this was caused by people chipping bits off as good luck tokens. Road side parking is available for this site. All of the stones are easily accessible without too much effort.
